THE FOREST

  covering its greatest part, the forest is one of the largest
  massifs in Europe. Protecting the lands against oceanic threats,
  it has been securing the inner dunes sites for more than
  hundred years.

A short cycle path will conduct you from the lake to the ocean and you will appreciate cycling through the forest, on a cycle path network that is unique in Europe. Nature and hike lovers, will be charmed by Cousseau pond, a protected nature reserve which got the Eurosite label.

A 100 kilometres cycle paths network and many marked out footpaths, will lead you according to your desires, towards more isolated sites. Break yourself of the daily life limits and adopt the bicycle, you will pass from the lake to the ocean, discovering the welcoming pines forest.
