Location

The Lacanau tourist resort is situated below the 45th parallel, at approximately 60km from Bordeaux and its rich vineyard, within the dynamic department of Gironde. Having access to the resort is quite easy, and the pleasant road gives you an idea of the omnipresent nature variety and richness.

Two ferry lines allowing to cross the Gironde estuary with its own car.

The first one, by the north, links Royan to the Pointe de Grave avoiding thus the long detour of the estuary and passing two bridges on the Dordogne and the Garonne:

The second, of smaller capacity, links Blaye to the port of Lamarque, allowing to get in the heart of the Medoc coming from Haute-Gironde and vice versa:
